Enliven Fitness is the result of over 25 years of experience working with clients and personal fitness challenges. It combines essential movements to achieve results without sacrificing function, addressing common daily imbalances caused by sedentary lifestyles or improper gym routines.
The program emphasizes core strength and functional movements, such as bending to pick up objects or getting in and out of a car. These movements are crucial for daily life and prevent pain from muscle imbalances. The Enliven Fitness program works because it is not only core focused, but is a Total Body Core Program. Meaning, while the core is the focus, I have also blended the program with unique versions of the most important movements the human body performs.
When you go through your day you probably perform the same movements over and over again. Doing this over a period of time, can likely lead to certain imbalances in the body.
Muscle imbalances ignored over a period time can lead to pain. . It’s like ignoring your car tires when they are out of alignment, and we all know what happens when your car tires are out of alignment for too long – they wear your tires out quicker.
So what do your body and your car tire have in common you ask?
Your body is made up of a series of joints, typically hinge – like your knee and elbow, and ball and socket – like your ankle and hip. When you engage in poor posture, awkward sleeping positions, or unhealthy movements consistently, you can create muscle imbalances. Similar to when you hit the curb, or big pothole, or go over a speed bump to fast you can knock your tires out of alignment. The same can be said for the body.
What Enliven Fitness does is re-align your body through the use of exercise. The same type of re-alignment you would have done to your tires if they were out of alignment.

If you’re part of this society, chances are you do way too much sitting and not nearly enough exercise or stretching of your muscles. Chances are you find yourself stuck behind the wheel of your car for far too many hours and typically once out of the car, head right to a desk or to the sofa to take on the same physical position.
This “pattern” of movement or more likely lack of movement, day in and day out create an unhealthy environment for a body that was meant to move. Muscles put through the same movement(s) day in and day out inevitably become lazy, out of balance (certain muscles getting too much work, while others not enough), and set the stage for pain and possible injury.
• When your body gets out of alignment due to lack of exercise or the right exercises, it also gets out of balance. And just like your car tires, the joints, in this case, wear out faster. But fortunately or unfortunately it is usually not without a heck of a lot of pain first.
• You see your body will give you all sorts of warning signs in the beginning that it is out of alignment. It may be a certain position you can no longer sit in, or a movement that hurts to perform. So like any intelligent person you avoid doing that movement because it hurts. Makes sense in the short run.
• But as we all know, ignoring things rarely makes them better. In fact in most cases, it allows them to get worse. . . sometimes much worse.
However, by using the Enliven Fitness program:

I’ve shared Enliven Fitness program with all sorts of clientele. From people that spend their days at a desk, to those that travel the country.
